You can make a Pallet Garden Bench like this one in under two hours, and you only need three pallets! This bench would be beautiful in any outdoor area, including your garden, patio, terrace, decks and even your front porch!

Beautify your outdoor spaces with this Comfy Little Pallet Garden Bench

First, cut two pallets in half along the center stringer. We used EPAL pallets, but you can use any three pallets that are the same size and style for convenience. Next, stack three of the halves on top of one another and secure together with outdoor deck screws. Remove the center stringer from one of the remaining halves. Place the stinger as the backrest, securing the deck boards at an angle that is comfortable for you (or put them in to form a 90-degree angle).

Finishing out your Pallet Garden Bench:

Remove the bottom deck of the third pallet. Use either the top or bottom deck as the backing for your bench. Finally, use a scrap of pallet stringer to create the armrest supports. Add two more pieces of deck board to create the arm rests, and trim out the front/sides if you choose, or leave them open as we did.

Be sure to seal this great little bench to protect it from the elements. See our page on Protecting and Restoring Wood for some help!
