First I cut one wide deck board into four pieces for the back, sides and stemware holder. I used nails to attach the back to the sides. I used a router to cut the stemware slots, but you could use a saw and just sand the edges. Next, I cut some thinner boards for the bottom of the rack, the front rail, and the spacer pieces. I stained the whole piece a dark brown and then added an Arabic illustration about wine on the front.
