I made this Miniature Pallet Wishing Well from scraps left over from a different project. This diminutive project measures under 12″ tall. It is perfect for that hobby dollhouse, train station, or even outdoors in your gnome yard! Be sure to create a garden border or fence to keep people from damaging it!
Don’t wish for a Miniature Pallet Wishing Well – build one instead!
I started by gluing small pieces together to form a cube measuring 3″ x 2 1/2″ x 4″ tall. I cut the slats for the sides and rounded the edges down with a belt sander. Those were glued to the outside of the cube to create the walls. The two support pieces were 5″ tall. I cut a piece into a triangle, routed a channel and glued that to the two poles. Next, I made the roof pieces the same way as the walls just made them shorter and wider. I cut out the bucket on my bandsaw and drilled a hole in it. Finally, I used a 1/4″ dowel to attach the bucket to with the twine and made the crank with my sander. I used the vinegar/steel wool stain, which came out darker than my test piece. All in all, it took less than a day and everyone that See’s it has liked it.
