Check out LEMS HAIRCUTS SALOON at HERVE, a Barber Shop decorated with pallet wood and scaffolding. We used pallets for various elements, including the counters, newspaper rack, & bottle rack. Barn-type sliding doors made of scaffolding wood hang on a far wall.

We stained everything with a walnut-tint. The shop is intended for professional activity and welcoming a clientele. This meant that the surfaces had to be perfect. We sanded all the splinters and rough edges intensively to make everything smooth to the touch. In the end, a job that lasted several weeks. However, the end result is a functional, vintage-chic atmosphere. Pallets make an excellent medium for storage solutions!
How come my Barber Shop doesn’t have a bar?
Bois de paletts et échafaudage au Barber Shop “LEMS HAIRCUTS SALOON” à HERVE, le barber shop aménagé et décoré avec des bois de palette et échafaudage. Pour ce projet du bois de palette a été utilisé pour les éléments de comptoir, le porte journaux, le porte bouteilles. Les portes coulissantes type grange ont été réalisées en bois d’échafaudage (plus épais). L’ensemble vernis avec une teinte satinée “Noyer” La finalité du travail étant destiné à une activité professionnelle et accueillant une clientèle, il faut une finition parfaite ou les échardes sont exclues, avec un ponçage intensifs pour un rendu parfaitement lisse au touché mais en gardant le visuel de la palette. Au final, un travail qui aura duré plusieurs semaines, mais un résultat à la hauteur du travail, une ambiance vintage chic.
