Create the perfect place to share your morning coffee or tea while you enjoy your garden or patio. This Rustic Pallet Loveseat Bench is a cost-effective way to add comfort and style while staying within a budget. This project is perfect for smaller spaces, too!

Don’t buy those cheesy folding yard chairs. Build a durable, attractive Pallet Loveseat Bench instead!

First, I made the seat frame using two 3′ lengths of  2″ x 6″ and three 1′ lengths of 2″ x 6″ (one in the middle). Then I filled in the top with 2″ x 8″s. I put on 4 legs (1′ 10″) and then cut a 45-degree angle off the edge of the top of the seat. Then I used some scrap for the brace on the backrest. I thought it would add some visual interest. First I lined up the boards, then I cut the 3 supports to length. I got the armrests from some scraps and just measured out the supports. I put some runners on the bottom for support. 2′ lengths of  2″ x 6″ on the sides and one 3′ long 2″ x 6″ on the back. I sanded it down. I think I went 60, 75, 150, and 260-grit papers. Finally, I used an ebony stain and Thompson water sealer to finish it off.
