I wanted a lift top coffee table, with storage, so I made my own out of recycled materials. Besides the lift top hinges and the aromatic cedar center, everything was recycled. The bottom box that acts as the main structure of the coffee table is from wood pallet boards, the top of the table is an old door and the inside is lined with cedar from old telephone poles. I still need to cover the top with tempered glass, but it’s already being used :)
