I used wood pallets and packing material wood to construct these stands for my 55 gallons drums. The sizes of the pallet stands are 2x2 foot. For the legs, I used 2 wood pieces of 2x2 inches, glued together and secured them with M8 - 120mm nuts & bolts. The top of the stand is made from recycled pallet wood, the thickness is approximately 1 inch.
All the 3 barrels (Food grade 55 Gal. barrels) are connected at the bottom by Hansen Tank fittings, 2 mm Male black with 25mm clear tubing. The purpose is to see the clarity of the water. The Black barrels has a Garden Tap.
The water comes from spouting and is filtered by 2 plants container with a plastic mess in between along with a pantyhose on top of the plastic container to filter any leaves or dirt. Lastly, on the right side of the black container is an eyesight to see the level of water in all the 3 barrels.
