To build this pallet trailer, you will need about 3 wood pallets. One very sturdy one, the other two you will need just the 2x4 support beams.
You also need:
- 2x 13in tires
- 2x 5/8x7 inches bolts
- 2x 5/8 lock nut
- 5/8 washers
- 3x 1/8 screws
- 5/8 spade bit
- 1x 3/8 spade bit
How to build it:
Take 4 of the 2x4 pallet wood and drill1-3/8 hole roughly halfway through (stick bolt head and washer in the hole), then finish with 5/8 hole 20-inches from the end and 1-1/8 up.
Take the 2x4 pallet wood and cut into eight 4-inches sections.
Take remaining four 2x4 and screw together lining axle up and using 4in as spacers. I did at both ends and then a few inches from the tire.
Bolt bolt through the hole and use remaining washers as spacers between tire and 2x4 so it won't wobble as much.
Screw axle/tire keeper to skid.
Take the leftover 2x4 and screw to center of the pallet and use as a handle.
Eventually will make an actual tongue to mount to mower/quad. I don't have a hitch yet to measure how high tongue has to be.
