When I was asked to host Christmas dinner for the family, I didn’t have a table! So I brought home wood pallets from my work and set about making a banquet table to sit 18.
The table ended up 4 meters long and 0.9 meters wide using 22 wood pallets in total. All screwed together using old decking screws. The table’s top is covered in real wood flooring that I bought discounted for £5 per pack and used 5 packs in total. To finish off, I covered the bottom in grey cardboard, and using PVA glue, I bought tartan wrapping paper and papered it. Very pleased with the final results.
