Striptease: Build a Stripped Kitchen Table for your kitchen or dining room.

First plane deck boards to a uniform thickness of 1/2″. Next, cut multiple 1/2”x 1/2” strips. Optional: stain or paint individual pieces of pallet deck boards before gluing. Mix and match wood types, or keep it a uniform color. Cut a piece of 3/4″ plywood to the size of the table you want. Glue the cut pieces down with good-quality wood glue to a piece of 3/4” plyboard, or put the kids to work on this step Trim the table with 1 1/4″ wide strips, or use a commercially-made trim board. Miter the corners for a finished look. Cut tapered or straight legs, and attach to them with a leg mounting plate set.  If you prefer, store-bought table legs are a stylish option.

Make any pattern you want on this Kitchen Table. I did an overlapped starburst.
Make any pattern you want. I did an overlapped starburst, but even a “crazy-quilt” style is beautiful. This part is perfect to have the kids do with (or for) you!
